Vie nocturne européenne - Greektown Detroit

Greektown located in Downtown Detroit, decorated with casinos, bars and clubs attracts the crowd once the sky gets dark.

Every night folks from the city and from other parts of Michigan flock to the place to try their luck at the poker, grab a drink, enjoy a walk on the European style streets or to do the thing which excites the most: Party!

The place has a couple of good restaurants too. Be it the “Five Guys” which is famous for offering fries made from fresh potatoes directly from the field, or be it the fine dining sites, Food-o-holics love this place.

One can also notice employees returning from their late night shifts since they know Greektown is one of the few places where they can get what they need even at that late hour of the day, or probably early hour of the next day.

The pastry stores in the Greektown has got awesome mouthwatering menu, Yummy !

To enter in casino or clubs one must be at least 21 years old, otherwise get ready to be disappointed by the security official’s rude “NO”. (I myself was denied 3 times)

The area is safe, thanks to the Detroit Police department for their patrolling. Students from different nearby universities love to come on weekends, to re-fuel and get ready for the week ahead.
Alina a student from Wayne State University expressed how relaxed she feels once she comes to the place. “It’s always fun to come to Greektown, it’s always on the top of my head”.
